NAMPA — Requiem Mass for Clinton Ellsworth Hahn, 54, Nampa Route 2, who
died Tuesday at his home, will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at St.
Paul's Catholic Church by the Rev. Father Thomas Clemens, S.M. Interment
will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. The rosary will be recited at 8
p.m. Thursday at the Alsip Funeral Chapel.
Mr. Hahn was born
March 20, 1917 near Wilder. He was reared at Wilder and Caldwell where
he attended school. He graduated from Caldwell High School in 1936. He
married Lydia V. Badiola Aug. 15, 1948, at Nampa.
In past years,
he had worked as a finish carpenter for Hoff Lumber Company at Caldwell
and, since 1955, he had been farming at Nampa Route 2. Before moving to
their present address, the couple had lived in Caldwell for six years.
During World War II, he served in the U.S. Army Air Corp, and was a war
prisoner in Germany for a year and one-half.
He is survived by
his wife, Mrs. Lydia V. Hahn, Nampa; one son, John Charles Hahn, Nampa;
one daughter, Theresa Marie Hahn, Nampa; one sister, Edythe Mary
Adsmonds, Boise and a number or nieces and nephews. He was preceded in
death by one brother and one sister, and his parents.
